How can we help you?

Two-factor Authentication

PayDo uses two-factor user authentication. Each time you log in to the system, change the password and send outgoing transfers, you will need to confirm the action by entering an additional verification code.

Important! The user has activated the “One-time text code” option by default.

We strongly recommend switching from this option to the Google Authenticator or Authy app.

To connect a new type of two-factor authentication, please follow the steps below:

  1. Firstly, install one of the applications (we highly recommend Google Authenticator) on your Android or iOS device; Links to download applications are available on the Settings page of the account;
  2. On the Settings page below, click “Activate” on the chosen type of two-factor authentication;
  3. After clicking “Activate” in the pop-up, scan the QR code and enter the received token;
  4. Finally, it is necessary to deactivate the old type of two-factor authentication. Enter the code from the letter in your mail in the pop-up.

Upon further switching between two-factor authentication apps, it will also be necessary to first activate the new application and then deactivate the old one.

You cannot disable two-factor authentication in your account for security purposes.
